YANG WATER RAT.
In the Hsia calendar, 2020 is symbolised by two Chinese Characters: Yang Metal and Rat. Yang Metal is the Heavenly Stem (character on top) and the Rat is also a Water Element. In the Five Element cycle, Metal creates Water. As the Heavenly stem Metal supports the Earthly Branch Rat below it. As these two elements represent harmony, one would expect 2020 to be a peaceful year. This however can be very misleading if one focuses on the destructive nature of metal, plus the Rat can be turbulent and aggressive as ocean water. A person born on a yang metal day has all the qualities of a powerful warrior or military commander. Yang Metal is also represented by a sword, harsh and ruthless. However Metal is also associated with loyalty. Metal Day Master people are honest and reliable. Many are military commanders, emperors, kings politicians, lawyers and social advocates. They exhibit strong leadership skills and often behave like heroes because of their deep desire for fairness and justice in a fight.
Their fierce and resolute personality creates a tendency to fight. This kind of character can bring war and brutal killing. EXAMPLES OF YANG METAL PEOPLE EMILIA CLARKE who played Dragon Queen Daenerys on the Tv show Game of Thrones.Born 23rd Oct 1986. In the show, she portrays a charismatic leader in command of a massive army – who is also a ruthless and brutal killer, riding her dragon to destroy the city King’s landing. This character aptly matches the Yang Metal image; coincidently this show was Emilia’s most popular achievement to-date, essentially portraying her own true nature. ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGAR who has been a politician and plays the hero in movies like TERMINATOR a good and loyal metal robot. ALEXANDER THE GREAT, QUEEN ELIZABETH 11, EMPEROR QIANLONG, GENERAL GEORGE S PATTON, EDWARD SNOWDEN, ISAC NEWTON, GIANNI VERSACE, JEREMY LIN, TIGER WOODS, MOHAMMED ALI and MARTIN LUTHER KING,JR. METAL AND WATER ARE COLD ELEMENTS AND REPRESENT YIN TIMES OF YEAR.AUTUMN AND WINTER Hence the atmosphere this year is that people will feel more apt to resort to violence in achieving their ideology or beliefs creating more conflict and turbulence.There will be more impassioned protests, angry demonstrations strikes and riots over issues of social injustice and inequality. However, since Yang Metal sitting on the Water Element lacks support from Earth, it is actually weak and unstable. Tjis means that the aggressive image is fake and lacks a solid foundation.
Yang Metal will come to full strength in the autumn season when metal is strongest; then the aggression will become more real and fierce. An interesting characteristic of Yang Metal arises if you were also born on the day of the Yang Metal Dog or Yang Metal Dragon – in other words, if your Day Master is yang metal Dog or Dragon. In Four Pillars of Destiny this is called “Fai Kong.”People who are born on this kind of day exhibit a very tough character. The lack of Fire also weakens the Earth plus strong metal and water creating serious earth-related disasters such as landslides, sink holes, avalanches, mining accidents, buildings collapsing, and earthquakes. The last Yang Metal Rat year occured 60 years ago when a serious earthquake occurred in Valdvia Chile May 22nd creating a giant tsunami and also another earthquake in Morocco Feb 29th 1960 Agadir worst in Moroccan history. Also the Rat is clashing with the Fire Horse directly, in a brutal and unforgiving way. The Fire element is related to airlines and airplanes causing possible airline accidents.In 1960 there was a list of accidents many serious.

It is no wonder that Hong Kong is now experiencing massive demonstrations against the passing of the Extradition Law. It means, you are offending the energy of the year. Therefore, it is recommended to carry a jade pendent of the OX to reduce the negative influence. Some examples of famous people born in the year of the RAT include PRINCE CHARLES, PRINCE HARRY, Scarlet Johansson, and Mark Zuckerberg. STOCK MARKET AND ECONOMIC GROWTH The fearful energy of the Water Element Cycle is going to take over and prevail for the next 4 to 5 years. Pessimism, cynicism, and despair will set in and contribute to the economic decline with serious set backs too. BUT WHICH INDUSTRIES CAN STILL THRIVE IN A BEARISH MARKET ? Industries belonging to the Fire Element can expect prosperity because Fire conquers Metal, and Metal is Fire’s money. Fire industries include energy, power generating businesses, restaurants and entertainment. Next industries that can prosper belong to the Earth Element because Earth conquers Water, and Water is Earth’s money. Earth industries belong to the real estate, land development, mining, insurance, computor software and technology. Finally, the third most prosperous industry belongs to the Metal Element.
Though Metal does not see Money this year, because metal s bad luck sees water, this industry is active and productive. These industries include automobiles, engineering, banking and machinery. The industries in bad luck this year are Water and Wood. Water industries will suffer because they will face strong competition. These include shipping, transportation and communication. Also, Fire is water’s money and Fire is totally absent; hence this is not a prosperous year whatsoever. Wood industries such as fashion, media, books and environment will also face an uphill climb, because Wood’s money is Earth and Earth is also absent. OTHER A few interesting things to point out about world leaders. Year 2020 is a favorable year for U.S A President Donald Trump, so his chance for a successful year and the likelihood of a second presidential win in the upper coming election is high. This is also a favorable year for Russian President Vladmir Putin, so his power is very strong. A Yang Metal is considered a power element year for Prince William. The RAT is North Korea President Kim Jong-un’s Aggressive Intelligence Element, so his actions are more forceful, careless and less peaceful. Last year China’s President Xi Jinping was under clash with the Pig. This clash continues because the Rat year will clash against the Horse in his month pillar. As such, China could very well continue to be under pressure with its economic relationships with the U.S and the Western World.
